While we are still waiting on a proper translation, it appears SNK-Playmore is rolling out The King of Fighters XIII: Climax -- an arcade revison of that game that brings it up to date with everything that the console version contains, such as extra characters and balance changes. According to Famitsu, a few location tests are planned to take place in Japan come February 11th and 12th.

They also opened up an official page for the game on their site but details seem sparse at the moment. Keep an eye on this post and the front page of IPW for more updates as they come through!

While it's saying that its just to update the arcade to the console version, it seems pointless to have a location test just for this. Normally they are used to test balance and see what further changes r needed. I don't take KOFXIII to a high enough level right now to care about balance changes, but u no i'm here for any potential chances to add new characters. C'mon SNK, add on a few bitchs duca

They better since they are doin location tests. U don't need to do them if ur not goin to add/change anything phone

I didn't know SNK updated their games like Capcom tbh lol.

Normally they don't, i think this is the first time they did it for arcade. They've always done arcade to console changes and then they did a few versions of KOF2002 but there were other games in between them
