Hello?
Hello Tekken Will Last, I guess you all want to know about me huh?
I am a controversial user which started foruming in 2004 when I started IGN. I began to foruming on other Tekken sites mainly, and IMO I felt there was a gap in the market. Tekken websites were either too strategy based or too casual, so I decided to create my own website to try and find a midway, and so Tekken Nation was born, then well...you know the rest of tale.
However I'm not here to gloat about the success I've had, or even to get to know you because we already know each other. I wanted to come here to apologize for the way I treated some of you during the end of 2011. I know Tekken Nation meant a lot to you, and you guys were a lot more grateful than a lot of the other users. Even though the ones that did not mod, I sensed genuine passion in your posts that you genuinely were happy here, and I guess I either overlooked or underestimated how much you guys meant to me. And I'm not here to suck up, not at all, I just try and make my website the best it is. Though our domain and awareness is now the strongest it's ever been, I missed having you guys around because a lot of you were my closest friends I had there. You were the guys I'd discuss philosophy with, play on PSN, speak on MSN etc.
I understand the "fierce thing" meant something to you, but I had no idea it meant "that much to you", to the point you would leave the site completely. Rest assure though, I am not means a bad person, I'm not one of those corporate sociopath who only cares for the company only. The fierce thing, just happened to offend a lot of people, and I mean a lot of people, and unfortunately despite trying my best to just have it so it was posted in adequate amounts, I felt it was still being misused. TN really needed to move on from the 2010 era were people kept fighting, and this "paragonism" of the forum, played a big role in a lot of these problems we had. I could not go one week back then, with out a fight on the forum, and I could not afford to do that anymore, TN needed to expand and I needed to spend more time on building on the domain.
Now it's wrong of me just to scapegoat the fierce thing, in fact you guys were a lot better than the "other" group, and you know who I'm talking about here. Were as sometimes some people found you "annoying", I genuinely believe that despite the spam, you guys were actually nice people inside, most of you anyway. Were as the other group, I see so much anger and hate to the point I genuinely do not understand what they are talking about sometimes. Honestly I opened one link someone linked, them making fun of the users on my forum, and I seen the "F word" used so many times I genuinely had no idea what they were trying to say. All I seen was: "F,F,F,F,F,", add that with the anger and hate in their posts, I question why I ever took those who complained about your fierce thing, seriously.
Now at Tekken Nation things are a lot cleaner than before, and we have far less fights. We could have a lot of fun together with SFXT with now out, and discussion for Tekken Tag 2 getting hotter and hotter.
I would love to see you guys on Tekken Nation again, though I would prefer to see you guys really active again, but at the very least perhaps inactive and present like Arisboy88 would be cool too. At least before I too call it a day, with me starting work and passing my driving test, at last .
But if you don't, then I just wanted to apologize for any inconvenience I have caused for you guys in the past. I certainty don't think things should have ended the way they did, and I hope you guys do the right decision in the end.
