Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
I think the old man is the professor, because his name is Hala and that's a tree in Hawaii..so Kukui may have a bigger role in the end?
Also, a lot of people pointed out how small the map is, like it's far too detailed and small for a full region, so people think that we may get an Orange League style region and have to travel island to island to get all 8 badges..that would be amazing tbh.
Also, in the Japanese trailer Meowth is spotted behind the mother, so we're probs getting an X/Y style Pokédex.

I can see it having other islands you have to travel to since its based off Hawaii. Kukui I think means nut which is........fitting.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
This image is ridic small I know but we could end up having a new puppy line! It looks like it could be a Pom, Shiba or any other dog breed that's adorable I need it.
Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
Its got a puffy tail and cute ears so I already love it. I just love pre-Pokemon game hype so muchhhh I can't wait to get my hopes up for Mega Jynx only to get let down for the 3rd time.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
Some people have been digging on the Japanese site and found fighting and ground type in images on the page about the starters..so we may get a water/fighting starter.
Litten fans are mad at fire/ground..Popplio already showing up that basic cat.
(jk I love Litten)

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
But if anything it would make more sense for Litten to become fire/fighting and popplio to become water/ground... I wonder what direction the evolutions will take visually because i assumed popplio would just get fatter and uglier and Litten would get more nimble and graceful.
But they already done water/ground and fire/fighting starters so it'd be boring to do it again

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
I didn't see how either could be fighting tbh, but like Samurott could have been a fighting type, so I can actually imagine it for Popplio now. I doubt GF will be that idiotic to make a 4th Fire/Fighting type starter.
Also, Fire/Ground is actually a good typing, people just think it's bad because Camerupt, but it's nearly as good as Water/Ground cause it's only got 2 weakness (4x to water tho) and 5 resistances. Water/Fighting on the other hand, has like 5 weaknessess and 7 resistances, so a bit more wild. And we all know poor Rowlett's typing is a mess and will most likely make him terrible..unless they make him super attacking minded.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
Oh wait, people are now saying that the typing images are actually ordered as Grass/Ground, Fire and Water/Fighting..that's interesting. Rowlett breaking all the trends. Tbh about time the Fire starter got nothing new for once.
Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
How a Grass/Ground owl supposed to work?? Especially when he's already Grass/Flying?? All those type combinations are boring. I demand a half fairy starter line.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
The only line I could have seen being fairy was Popplio, but honestly, we don't need fairy starters, that's a type I see too "special" for lack of a better word..kind of like dragon and ghost mons.
People thinking the grass/ground typing comes from Burrowing Owls.

I can't believe it's a rock type..that has to be the cutest rock type ever.
Not forgetting the Koala the cute lil sleepy baby.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
The only new design I've been disappointed in so far is Grubbin. I love Pikipek.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
Battle Royale sounded great, but then I saw a vid where one mon got killed off and the game was over...like keep it going til the last mon standing..unless what I saw was one variation of it.

Right? Like its Battle Royale don't that mean fight until only one is left standing? ...At least that's what the movie was about.

Cutiefly and Drampa are my faves. Adorable little fairy fly and the dragon from neverending story, this gen is amazing lol.
I would love the Hedgehog, but that random pikachu tail puts me off.

Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
Rockruff is too much! Apparently he evolves at night only. Werewolf mon? Also, wtf at the Koala's move.
Re: Pokémon/ Pocket Monsters!
Anybody download Pokemon Go? Its really cute and I've been able to catch quite a few Pokemon without even leaving my house.
The servers are kind of a big mess (I was on a hot pursuit of a Jigglypuff but it fucked up) but so far I've been able to catch general Pokemon like Weedle, Caterpie, Pidgey, Spearow and Rattata, and then special ones like Eevee and Shellder (idk what Shellder was doing in my room but ok I'll take it I guess.)
I know I'mma be checking my phone everywhere I go now. Trynna get Jynx and all the pink fatties I stan for.
