Anyone try this? It's so stupid.. but amazing.
I love the "deer" species, and luckily got Beau today! Just give me Bam now game and my town is already gods gift to the world.
I would invite them all cept for the grey n pink girls.

Re: Animal Crossing
I'm very exited.. I'm getting a 3DS with New Leaf in a few days! I've been playing Wild World on and off for about 2 years on an old DS my friend loaned and then gave to me. I don't have any friends to play with though. Would you like to be buddies?
Re: Animal Crossing
I've heard that the price has gone down to around 100$. I still feel super fortunate to get one as a gift. I don't even know how to react to show them how much I appreciate it!
Re: Animal Crossing
Oh yes that would be awesome, I lack friends for ACNL. This is my first AC game and did I make a big mistake in playing this blind lol, my perf orange I got at the start I sold straight away. I didn't know you could plant trees using the fruits. There are other things I messed up, but I guess it's all part of the fun. Lemme know when you get your 3DS so we can add eachother.
CFW honestly worth getting tbh, Nintendo games just have unmatched charm. And I only got into them like around 2008/09 so no nostalgia here...or does date count?

Re: Animal Crossing
I'm not familiar with what a perfect orange is for. Could you enlighten me?
Also, what should I name my town? What did you name yours?
Not nostalgic enough. Be prepared to be swarmed by nostalgia pigeons at 3:15 am tonight.

Re: Animal Crossing
Oh it must be another new thing in NL. Basically its much richer sweeter looking version of your town's native fruit and they sell for a lot more bells. So planting one grows a tree that only has perf fruits, giving you another great way of making more bells. I called mines Umbra..kind of inspired by Bayonetta and Umbreon, but I'd change it with more thought tbh.
lol Pigeons are pretty cute, at least countryside ones anyway.

Re: Animal Crossing
Woooh! Very interesting! I went on a rampage in my town. I managed to acquire all the different kinds of fruits, and spaced them all evenly apart after turning my town into a barren wasteland. Now I have an extremely profitable orchard town! I did keep one native apple tree by my house though x3
Unfortunately it seems I can't get my town's state to "perfect" as theres never "enough greenery". I don't play enough to upkeep flowers, so it is at it is!
What theme have you made your room(s)?
I started playing AC in City Folk on my friends Wii. I had nothing better to do all day while I was at his house so I got really into it and I eventually ended up with his DS. >w<

Re: Animal Crossing
Lol well apparently they are less bothered about where you plant your trees now so it's a lil easier to get it now. Tho I have to say the town project stuff is v annoying to find good locations for. I actually didn't really try for themed rooms yet. I find the HHA weird. What theme are you going for? Also any fave villagers?
Re: Animal Crossing
Theres town projects!? Like, you get to place buildings and stuff? THATS RAD AS HECK!!!
I havent really looked at whats available in new leaf because I dont wanna start playing and already know everything about the game But in wild world, my theme is classic in 2 rooms, cabin in one, greenhouse in the back, and asian upstairs. Thinking of replacing greenhouse with more asian because i found new things for it. HMM.
I really like the characters that are really girly and cutesy, the ones who plant flowers outside. Kiki and Baabara are two that come to mind The deer look so cute!!

Re: Animal Crossing
@Owlsighs It seems NL really added alot to series, I probs couldn't play the classics now lol. Kiki is so cute, I'd want Willow from the sheep fam.
@Alis Nothing tbh..I was in dark place then..but the grey one is still bland, but I wouldn't want to leave her out.
@CFW I think the real question here is, what can't you do in this game?

Re: Animal Crossing
It's not really a game where you have objectives. It was made for people who live in the city and who have no time to live a relaxed life. So basically, it's an extremely leisurely game. You can do what you want. Gardening, fishing, bug catching, fossil digging, furniture collecting, and chatting with your cute animal neighbours are the big points of what you can do. But yeah, if you don't "get" it, it will be extremely boring. It's for when you want to relax and pick apples. Its mostly played on a DS, so busy people can play while on their commute.CFW wrote:what exactly do you do in this game?
Re: Animal Crossing
I GOT MY 3DS XL!!! You get your friend code from the monkey at the station, right?
Re: Animal Crossing
I've been obsessed ever since I got my hands on it! Thats why I haven't been on much.Bosca wrote:How you finding it? Like your villagers?
Looking forward to visiting your town, but it seems we miss each other every time we sign on!
Re: Animal Crossing
Gruff! What have I done?!
Lol same tbh, tho don't expect my town to be super amazing tho, I just really got into the game last month after first trying it out in Dec last year lol. I was frustrated with the shop hours back then.. but TT has been a godsend tbh. I'll leave my gate open when we're both online next time.
Hopper is gonna be leaving my town soon, do you want him?
