FR Redesigns

Who's do you love? Who's do you hate? What redesigns would you like to see for the currently unconfirmed veterans? When will Shaheen raw me? These are questions I need answers to.

Personally my favorite out of everyone's is hands down Xiaoyu's. Its mature, practical, non-sexualized, stylish, sickening, etc. They could've easily went with a school-girl uniform or a simple outfit meant for a 12 year old but they really nailed it for me. Its everything I've wanted Xiaoyu to be for a long time. Its like T4 all over again.

I really love Lili's, Leo's, Alisa's, Nina's, Bryan's and Steve's also. Asuka's is cute and I do love it but it is a little 'pedestrian' imo. Paul's, Drag's and Feng's are all good but just a little forgettable imo. The only one I truly dislike is Devil Jin's. I both love and hate Hwoarang's. Like I love the tight crop top T-shirt, the undies peaking out of the pants and the jacket...but I still can't forgive the black hair and the eyepatch. I just pray there's a story to explain it. I'll probably like it more later on down the line.

If characters like Jun, Kuni or Michelle show up I kinda would want them to keep their TTT2 get-ups because they were everything I needed and more. I want Anna to keep her iconic red dress with the slit and gloves gig, but just as a different dress. Maybe more details and rhinestones and shit with a different upper half.

Julia though there's so many different directions they can take. Obvi I want Jaycee to be dead and gone but I wouldn't mind if regular Julia embraced the magenta/white/periwinkle color-scheme a little. Her glasses are already a custom option so I need her to be full-fledged Native American Warrior Goddess. Maybe a little facepaint, more feathers, darker skin (which she really should already have since she's Native American and all...but anyway)

and Miguel should show up in a jockstrap. Discuss.

I only hate Lili's because it's an Amy dress and I think as a character, Lili is much more than the lolita girly girl.

I didn't care for Howwrong's like I don't dislike it, I just think it's ok. It's alright in motion.

I don't understand the thought behind Leo's, but it's interesting.

Overall the new costumes are corny and I would have preferred like casual clothes but hey that's what u get when ur team is full of straights.

I'll take Julia or Jaycee..just bring her back! If Julia, I feel like her old Tekken 3 P2 outfit could be a good starting point or her T4 P1 outfit and if Jaycee give her a Nadeshiko style outfit. But really, I just want her back.

If Ganny comes back and lol that's not happening, I would rather they made his old P2 his default, it was nice.

Didn't Harada say Jaycee was a one time thing? I mean I remember him saying young Hei was a one time thing and now he's old again so if he really did say that about Jaycee too then its more likely we're getting regular Julia with maybe a couple JC moves and (hopefully bc its cute) the JC uniform as a custom option.

I still hope she just wasn't in the survey because they already know she's flawless and don't need anymore persuading because they already put her in the game and she slayin

No I mean regular 6.0 Julia with maybe Jaycee's f+2 string with an S! move at the end. d/b+4 can stay too. The outfit can appear as a customization option but I really want her (redesigned) default and storyline to be just regular Julia.

Keep her hurricanrana and air throw too. And the weird u/f punch too..tho that's probs useless without B!

Oh she'll probably keep the air throw since Michelle had one too. If she does keep it she'll be a powerhouse in the floor break stage just like King. Hurricanrana is great but I miss her T6 d/f+3+4. It has such a cute animation and was sort of useful in a few combos. They could change the notation to d+3+4 or something. As for the u/f punch it'd be useful in floor break stages when the opponent is wall splatted I think so I wouldn't mind if it stayed.

I'd rather Julia stays Julia and a new comer takes the Jaycee mantle (ya know that friend that Julia decided to pretend to be?)

Anywho, back on topic of outfits, anna needs to get a redesign of the red dress or perhaps something in the vain of her T5 alts. Red dress custom somewhere anyway. The returning trinity of TT2 could honestly keep their outfits, at most give em a tweak.

For Julia, i'd want something to stay on the native american theme or go for that tomb raider look again from T4. Dont go scientist/librarian, keep that stuff as alts.

For Lei, i want the chinese kung fu get up he always has, but play around with it. Make it sleeveless? Give him a hat? Idk. But am feeling the colour green and alot of gold motifs.

I saw Wonkey retweet someone saying they were talking to Michael Murray and he said that Lei isn't very popular or something and the tone he was talking about him seemed to suggest he's not returning. Nothing confirmed obvs, but it's not looking good for Lei. Crying or Very sad

I could low key see Namco replacing Lei with a less complicated version... But no he has to be there or at least acknowledged with a student as a replacement or something.
