Katarina Alves

I could have sworn there was a thread made for her already, but I don't see it. Forgive me if I'm making a second one without realizing.

Anyway, I've been watching a lot of matches with Katarina and I'm beginning to really like her. I think I'll main her if I bother buying Tekken 7. She'll be a fresh restart for me since Zafina and Julia, the two mains I'm most skilled in, are gone. 

Although, is she low-tier?! I keep seeing her get her ass beat! And I have the worst luck in liking characters that are low-tier in Tekken (except for Julia and Lars)!

The last tier list i saw, all the gals were floating around B/C and were the lowest, so take that as you will. It's probably still too early to tell. Probably has hit the point were they are familiar enough to defend against at the moment so the Kat players gotta (and can) up their game.

But once again they saying there isn't much of a gap between the tiers themselves.

I dunno, I think they would have been revealed by now if they were coming back. Unless, did Namco say more characters will be revealed?

I like Kat's tattoo, though I guess the option to remove it would be cool.

There will be more characters, most likely returning characters now.

Well if Zafina and Julia do make it into Tekken 7, I may not even main Katarina after all 

And Raven seriously needs to come back. Like, Tekken has no black people right now. I don't see Bruce coming back seeing that Josie fights just like him. And I don't see Eddy or Christie coming back seeing that Chloe already has capoeira/breakdancing moves in her move set. 

Though I guess it's possible Katarina is Afro-Brazilian like Christie. But she looks more Latina than Christie. Heck, Kat does Savate, which is from France, and popular throughout the rest of Europe. So Kat may be from Portugal.
