Well that's interesting, purist may have a heart attack learning this. 

I am a bit scared as to what changes they are gonna make. Yes, the story drew in people probably more than gameplay, but the gameplay wasn't bad. It worked in FFX and they just remastered that one. If they change the gameplay too much, or for the worse, people might not stick it out. I need some form of ATB (they better not touch the materia system), and I need full party control. Don't give me that FFXII and later battle systems (but if you must, give me XII because i still have a say in what the AI does)

Have a nice interaction between the turks and the crew before the last showdown. Something in character but a nice touch.

Gameplay is giving me Kingdom Hearts / FFXV teas, which ain't a bad thing.

Yeah it looks nice..but as someone who didn't actually play the original FF7 I don't think Cloud and co are that appealing. Tifa is the only one I like lol.

This is a known forumotion issue

I worry it's not gonna run well on the current consoles, it's such a pretty game, but it's gonna be a slideshow a lot of the times..tbh it's gonna get burned to the ground like NMS, because of the build up. I also fear for The Last Guardian..people need to keep their expectations in check, these games won't be allowed to be anything but perfection and GOTY contenders. I mean..it is the publishers faults most of the time when that happens, but these games have been through development hell.

Idk, people tend to forget NMS is an indie title that got AAA hype. It does what it said it'd do.

FFXV os straight up AAA from a well known publisher. It'll definitely get judged harshly, but at the same time it could get away with "its finally here omg i love it"

The game has a lot of issues technically and just got completed last week they need more time. 

Honestly I think it should be delayed into next year.

Even with the patience of people running thin, they should just do it tho imo, Nintendo push fans so far at times but usually deliver an amazing game and all is forgiven. I really don't think FF appeals to the mainstream like people think anyways.
