The future of DOAX

If they were to ever make a sequel that I'd be interested in then they'd need to add the males too. It's just way too much emphasis on the girls and the volleyball + racing seem real fun.

Somehow DOAX2 regressed, DOAX1 was more of a volleyball game than 2 cause it had multiplayer and a good system behind it.

DOAX2 dropped multiplayer in favor of bullshit pervert mini games and stripping. Only minigames i liked was the wave racing and the slide thing.

Agreed. The mini games looked really dull and boring to me

They were, why they took out multiplayer in favor of single in a volleyball game is beyond me.
If they do make DOAX3 then get rid of the stripping and other dull mini games. Leave in wave racing and put back in multiplayer local and online.

If they need more girls then put in Momiji and Rachael.

Or they can get rid of this series once and for all... DOAX is like the biggest reason that so much of the FGC doesn't take the DOA series seriously.

If they really wanna keep the volleyball goin, make it a minigame or something. No need for it to have its very own series.

I mean, DOA5 or 6 having a series of mini games could work... if the story mode wasn't as extravagant as it's been (from what I know). And apparently people have a problem with that.

DOA's story is more coherent and actually effects the characters more than Tekken 6 story.
DOA5 is shaping up to be the same way.

People already had their views on DOA before DOAX even came out, it only reinforced their distorted view on the series even though they never played it. DOA1,2 and 3 were great gameplay wise and were competitively viable.

Another DOAX game isn't gonna change anything.

Another DOAX game will change it when the team says they want to get away from that image that people have of them...

But then again, they did the swimsuit and DOA bunny outfits, so i guess they never really cared about that and it was just false words.

The swim suits aren't as bad as before, I think they suit the girls well (except for Hitomi, isn't she supposed to be a tom boy? That is just too girly for me).
In my opinion, having a DOAX game focused mainly on the girls won't be good for their proclaimed "image change", but focusing on all the characters and bringing out the more competitive aspects of the game would help tremendously.

DOA Paradise is on PSN for the PSP.

ugh how about an HD remaster of DOAX 1 and a PS1 port of DOA.
