I would say that's jumping the gun... I doubt a bit of eye make up on Kitana means Tanya is out. They both from Edenia, it could be a bad bitch Edenian thing, if it even means anything. It's probably nothing more than a visual cue for the Assassin variant of Kitana.

Besides, thats only in one Tanya outfit. Considering she has been in two games hat give different designs, i wouldn't call that a defining trait. Her only trait is she wears yellow.

idk, I'd be worried if that variation had Tanya moves, but as far as I can tell she doesn't have any. I'd also be worried if Tanya's mask/eye paint was like iconic for her, but I mean you can never really tell she's wearing a mask to begin with.

I still say that this is bad for Tanya. I know not to base my speculation on one design, but this has been her design for YEARS and has become an iconic part of her character. I personally don't think it's a coincidence.

I wouldn't say its iconic, i mean she's only been in three games, one of which didn't redesign anyone so it kept her most recent design, and the other game where she had a different design didn't include the black eye makeup. To me, it'd be like saying white boots is iconic to Lili. It ain't. I think Lili i think flowing yellow hair.

I know she was in the background of MK9 the odd time, but i reckon they used the same model as a time saver again.

She's one of the more recognisable post MK3 characters and has ties to Quan Chi and Shinnok, so for that alone i'd say she has a good chance.
