I kind of wish tho, we could get to play the first 2? Because I don't think it's a series that can do what Witcher 3 does and make the first 2 games story irrelevant. But awesome that Sony actually paying for it too, because I was confused at what they were even trying before.

Shenmue is a IP Sega isn't willing to let go of yet do anything with. The HD remaster was worked on and rumored to be even finished.


They would be idiots to not take advantage of this after the kickstarter made 2 million in 8 hours and 3 million under 24 hours.

While Yu can make Shenmue 3 with Sega's blessing he can't use the other two games that is up to them.
