OST

I was watching Soulcalibur V videos and I noticed a BGM on Pyrrha's stage that I insta-liked and it turned out to be Cervantes' theme from Soul Blade/Edge.



Personally, I think SCV has the best OST in the series since it's just so orchestrated and emotiomal, but they all do really.

From best to least favorite, mine would have to be:

V, IV, SB, III, II, I

Not that any of the OSTs are bad, it's just I wouldn't play those on repeat. I hear some people say that SCIV had the worst OST but I disagree x100

For me, it's probably...

2. SB
3. SCV
4. SC
5. SCII
6. SCIV

Soulblade is high mainly for nostalgia I guess, but An Oath of the Sword is beautiful, and the Edge of Soul and Finding Our Way Home are just awesome, even if cheesy and engrishy.

I like SC3s soundtrack best however, just through sheer quantity of faves from it.

SC4 I'm generally in agreement with. The intro music has a star wars bit in it. A lot of the tracks just sound a bit too grand and dramatic for my liking, like they're part of an ignorable movie soundtrack. I liked a couple tho I guess

This doesn't just cover character themes, but the music used in story mode + other places like online, etc.
