Batman Arkham Series

OMG we can switch between Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman!
Probs only in specific fights with the 3 just announced..but still this is so cool.

I legit just told myself I wouldn't get this on release and now this trailer making me question my life

Don't let Origin kill your interest in Arkham series.. while not bad, it was meh.

I'm so mad at WB right now, a $40 season pass..aren't they suppose to save you money? What the hell would we be paying for the DLC individually? 

The Season Pass includes..

• Batgirl: A Matter of Family -- An all new prequel story expansion in an entirely new location where you play as Batgirl for the very first time in the Arkham series - check out the first render of Batgirl.
  

• The Season of Infamy -- Play as Batman in all new story missions featuring legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features.
  

• Gotham City Stories -- Play as Batman’s key allies in narrative missions extending their storylines, from both before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.
  

• Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks -- Drive the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman’s 75-year history, on custom-built race tracks, each themed to that Batmobile’s specific era. Every Batmobile will be drivable across every race track.
  

• Crimefighter Challenge Maps -- Engage in a series of new challenge maps utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies.
  

• Character Skins -- A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.
  

A lot of good stuff, but to get all of this it adds up to $100..also add on the preorder DLC for Harley and Gamestop exclusive for Red Hood's story, it's just all BS, you can't ever get a new game and not feel like you've got the dirt cheap one when you've payed full price for the goddamn thing.   I'm not entirely sure if I'll get this at launch anymore, might try and hold out for the GOTY edition that will definitely happen. Sad too, cause this looks to be a dream send off for the Bat fam.

Whenever you mentioned about the Season Pass stuff i did consider the GOTY edition as well. I think i'll hold out for that or if i cave just buy individual DLCs cause I'm only interested in the additional story ones. Extra skins are always nice too but i mean they always expensive outside of season passes

Yeah tbh, that could be one way of going around it. I think tho Witcher 3 may have won the day one buy battle, a lot of people are not happy and these are the two biggest games coming out these next 2 months.

Lol the Collectors Edition got cancelled. I'm still torn on if I should get this now or wait. This is so shitty, because the Arkham series is legit one of my all time fave and I know this is gonna be amazing. 1st world problems for you.

Apparently the quality of the model is shoddy and they didn't want to release it in that state, so they are just gonna do refunds. Seems the best thing they could do tbh.

People are mad at Gamespot giving this 7/10, the review imo was fair, the score felt a bit sore tho, because you see lesser games getting better scores. His main complaint was the batmobile and that the game felt predictable in fight and story towards the end. But its combat, gameplay and graphic are great..so like I find it hard to believe this is on the level of AC: Unity which was a broken mess. I mean people might not have played the game yet, but I feel like we have a right to question this score, especially when other outlets have been giving it 10s and 9s.

Also Totalbiscuit and Reviewtechusa need to sit the hell down telling people they can't have an opinion cause they didn't play it yet..it's Batman Arkham series, you know how it will be.. But also, if you're a kind of person that looks at a number and not read the review you can also go. 

I really don't get why scores aren't left behind and just have like a written piece. It would leave things so much more open and more games may get played because idiots aren't scared off by a "7".

the numbers are annoying, cause two games can have the same score for different reasons, it don't mean they equal.
But if there aint a TL;DR score to go with the review, people aint gone care.

Besides, if ya gone take a review to heart you need to get a life. I learnt from movie reviews that reviews can go suck a dick. Everyone got different tastes. And you can never trust reviews of igh profile games anyway. There's an element of bias

Well ever since I saw SF4 vanilla get 10/10 off of Metro (a site I respected before they became Metro..I forget what they were called tho lol) I stopped taking reviews seriously. Every other fighting series from them struggles to get an 8 (SFxT got a 9 tho). So that says it all to me. Then they even admitted how awkward it was to review SSF4 because of it and were like "but not because we feel we were wrong" and its like you got blinded by nostalgia it's ok. 

It's the same with all review tbh, Movies, Music and Games are all very much down to personal taste. Then again tho.. your music taste is something else. 

Oops I caved and I'm not even mad at myself. Because tbh, this game is why I even got a PS4. I guess I am mad that I'll get the game much later than I could have, but that's ok I still have Witcher 3.

If I like the game a lot, then I have no regrets. Besides, I can just trade in old games to get a GOTY edition. Probs still work out cheaper than getting the season pass.
