Game of the year 2012?

So 2012 has been a pretty forgettable year in gaming, only saved by the fact the famous four 3D fighters showing the world they aren't dead.

I know some of us will prob still pick up some new releases before the month is over, but just looking for your thoughts and all that.

I guess SSX and Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed are the only non figthers I would say were great.. unless NiGHTS HD remake counts?

I hear Farcry 3 is pretty great. COD promos were good, made me want it.

I really only care about the fighters and it seemed like a pretty active year for them.

Oh yeah, I've been watching vids of that and tbh I'm thinking of making it my christmas game. It's hilarious how out of nowhere you could get attacked by an animal and even how they attack the enemies at times. Also the island is so pretty.

Tekken Tag 2 hands down

Tbh, i'd need to look at my games collection to even tell u what other games I bought this year (apart from SCV, DOA5, VF5FS, LBPK and RE6... oops) so I will take that as a sign that none really stood out this year for me.

Like i have enjoyed several of the games i got this year, but its always TT2 i spend my tiny hours of gaming on

DOA5 deserves runner up tbh i mean tecmo did put effort in this game.

Dishonored tbh

I don't think Tecmo worked that hard tbh, it's a great game, but there are lots more characters that could've been added, arcade mode should've had a boss and endings and really they should've started proper customisation at this stage.

Definitely top 5 for me tho.

Who else could they have added? unless you mean more newbies then yes.
Arcade mode needed a boss i agree and was more lackluster than the previous games.

All I bought this year that came out this year was TTT2 and DOA5. And DLC for Dark Souls.

I'm possibly getting RE6 for Christmas.

DOA5 is great, but GOTY? I don't think so.

Well basically our own personal GOTY really. I don't the games we've all played will even get a look in for GOTY unless we all get Far Cry 3, Dishonoured or Ass Creed 3. Resi 6 would've probs been in the running if the critics didn't hate it.

Ooooh ok well my pics are SCV, TTT2, and Dishonored. Those are top three GOTY games though number one in my opinion would be SCV, but in my logical opinion it would be either Dishonored or TTT2.

Did you get Dishonoured for PC?

Wellllll no, I don't have a PC. But I've seen playthroughs and my friend has played it and we both agreed it was a good stealth game.

Oh right, well that's just as a good cause you've seen how it plays and how the controls are.

I just got Far Cry 3 today.

Give us the details on that game.

Oh I will, I haven't even started it yet. Kinda wanna give it a full day attention tomorrow.

Far Cry 3 is pretty awesome so far, I never really play FPS or first person games in general without feeling bored or w/e. But with this game I don't get that feeling, I'm just running around the island and kinda on the edge all the time cause Pirates and Animals are all over.
