I gotta wait till February for the second half of season 3 to come on. But that's ok since I'm gonna rewatch seasons 1 and 2 on DVD.

I'm here for him being gay bc that'd piss off so many straight fragile stans and I would LIVE from it. Also because I can't even track the Emily Kinney tag without being flooded with essays about BethXDaryl vs CarolXDaryl. Its like ppl can't let Beth and Carol live without tacking Daryl onto them.

Hopefully he ends up dating Paul Monroe when he comes to the series bc his boyfriend in the comics is some irrelevant with no lines? They'd make the best gay power couple.

That's what I don't like about shipping either. Like back when Tara, an established canon queer character, and Glenn, who is married, became friends, people just couldn't accept it and assumed he was ready to quit looking for Maggie because of her.

  

Even if they don't make Daryl gay we should be having more positive gay representation coming up. They seem to be close to running into Aaron who is a gay character. In the comics they run into him shortly after meeting Father Gabriel (who was already cast and was in the S5 trailer.) Aaron has a boyfriend named Eric too. They're two of my favorite characters from the comics and they're pretty important so I think they could be series regulars on the show. Paul/Jesus comes in a little later but I'm really excited for him. I trust Robert Kirkman in positively portraying gay characters. Especially because of Tara who is flawless and also because of this:
