E3 2017

Another year of exciting new game announcements! 
 

Tekken 7 and Injustice 2 have completely distracted me from E3 this year, but I still have some wishes. I want Nintendo to announce a new Animal Crossing on the Switch..no 3DS sequel like you're doing with Pokémon. I'd like a lot more Wii U exclusives ported over too. 

For Sony, I'm not sure, they're kind of killing it..I guess another new IP could be fun? I want Microsoft to shadow drop Cuphead on both Xbone and PC. 

There's more I'd want, like MvCI revealing not to have a shit roster, SSX makes another comeback but sticks to what makes it great and VF6 (lol IK). 

Anything y'all hoping to see?

Soulcalibur 6 and Remember Me 2

I wanna see more of FF7 Remake but i guess that's a long shot considering it's supposedly passed onto a new dev team.

I just don't want a VR or gimic focus.

And surprise announcement of Anarchy Reigns 2

Honestly I don't even care about e3 this year all the games I been waiting on is out and both Capcom and namco hate the games I like and would want sequels to.

I'm less bothered this year too, but I'm still hoping for some really exciting new IPs from any of the big companies. 

@Dels, I'd love a new Mario Strikers! Those were so fun. 

To get more in the spirit of E3, this is the new trailer from Life is Strange team for Vampyr. Kind of looks wild.

I'm worried they changed their mind about the episodic idea and going to go all out and make it one seamless game. VII has a world and art direction that would be very difficult to pull off in a reasonable time frame I just don't see it.

Midgar needs to be scaled down like the original not much exploration other than where you need to go.

I find it hard to get into anything Square Enix is involved in, they just make lead up to games so depressing. 

I dunno how I missed Anarchy Reigns 2, but omg that would be so amazing. I wouldn't even be mad if they brought the first to PC, I know that community would be all over it.

Oh yeah, a new DBZ game is happening from Bamco and they got Guilty Gear guys to work on it. I could get into this even as someone that never watched DBZ.

Eugh those DBZ screen shots look amazing. Although idk if i'll get it. I got Xenoverse 1 and played it for like two seconds. I got burnt out on Budokai series.

I'm torn cause on one hand, episodic will allow them to tell the story but it also could take forever. As long as Squeenix don't announce anything new and just stick to what we already know is coming, it should be fine. I will be pissed if FF7 ends up like a FFXV mess

E3 conference today was shit. Unsurprising since it's electronic arts. Tomorrow is Microsoft, Bethesda and Devolver Digital (whoever they are)

Devolver are more interesting than both Microsoft and Bethesda for me. 

EA were never gonna be great tbh, they did well considering their games are generally unappealing.

Had no idea this was even going on.

Microsoft are on now like 8 mins or so. Here's hoping they come back fighting to keep competition healthy.

Eh i didn't care about Microsoft's one... Kinda hard too when the games are all on PC anyway. I think they chose a bad game to end on. Woulda been fine if it was an announcement, but EA revealed the game a day ago...

And at $499 i think thats what PS3 released as. We all know how that went. They really should've tried to market this as next gen rather than a mid gen update. Xbox One X a dumb name

"Launch Exclusive" was really annoying me, it felt like a cheap attempt at having points over others and timed exclusives really bother me much more than full on exclusives. 

The DBZ game looks amazing, I really hope Androids 17 and 18 are in. 

Anthem looks really pretty, but I've never really been about heavy co-op or multiplayer games.

I'm into Anthem. Hopefully its well designed outside of what they showed off.. Honestly when I saw the DBZ game I thought, oh are they porting an older game? Why does it seem like they use the same character models every game

And like yeah could they have not come up with anything better than Xbox One X.. There was also a brief trailer of a pixelly looking game that looked good. The last night I think?

Yeah, I think it's an adventure game. It looks so good visually.

Bethesda were kind of awful, but I appreciate what they tried?

This was honestly the only thing I cared about. I like this cover too.

Ugh i flipped out at that audio mess. I enjoyed Sonys, best of the bunch. Kinda wish VR would die so it would stop getting a timeslot but w/e. Skyrim VR looked absolute trash though, a hot mess.

Really surprised to see ps4 get a monster hunter title, especially since the switch seems to go perfect with how the series has been on ninty handhelds for ages. I'm happy with that. Spiderman looked great. And it was nice to see so many legit exclusives without actually hearing the phrase uttered every 5 seconds.

Lowkey upset they didn't announce any form of BC cause its the one thing xbox has going for it, but i know they never will so meh

Ubisoft wasn't great. First year they didn't have some form of game that left me hype. Every game they showed off just made me think of another game that does it better...

They had way too much time of people talking on stage and spent way too long with each game. The Crew 2 had no redeeming qualities and seemed to take up 20 minutes. Their next PvP game just felt like a more serious version of Sea of Thieves.

It was ok, but this was my highlight. 



I hope they add the missing Colossi's that had to be cut in the original, since it's a remake rather than another remaster. 

Ubisoft "won" E3 this year for me. The Mario and Rabbids game looks cute af, Far Cry 5 looks really fun and the world is interesting and they're delivering to the hardcore fans of Beyond Good and Evil.
