Which faction did y'all choose? I'm part of the .03% of ppl who chose special forces.

Also what is your favorite and least favorite variations of your faves? I am a Full Auto Jacqui kinda gal and I also occasionally use Shotgun because I love the low projectile that can stun. I will never be good with High-Tech though lmao.

I'm gonna do a lot of faction hopping. Also, I used Shotgun Jacqui at first, but now I wanna try out Full Auto. I'll look at High Tech when I have enough background with this game to play that.

Overall, she reminds me of Catwoman a little bit. But I had to drop CW because I like projectiles.

You can pick your character without a variation. (@)

On the character select menu when picking a variation, just press up up and then triangle

If that just leaves them with the moves that are shared throughout the variations then does that mean Jacqui would have no gauntlets and/or projectiles??

Her default is Shotgun without the blasts. She still has the shotgun blasts in her strings tho.

Yeah, I don't have time to learn simple combos for everyone that I'm trying to use by watching random gameplay videos online. I've only had time to do that for Jacqui since she's my main. Everyone else I've used has been flop 5 hit combos I conjured up in 3 minutes in training mode.

I can't at how hard cancelling into specials feels in this game, the windows seem smaller than MK9.

I mean i get the hang of it, then i switch characters and have to redo all my timings

Eugh, i hate sub zero's ice clones in this game. Did they block projectiles in the past games? If your char doesn't have a teleport to go behind him, you're basically in a very annoying waiting game if he gets any slight distance away from you.

And yass at Covert Ops sonya, the one true sonya. Idc about her other variations, the commando stance is just too good and i need it to make my basic combos have a bit of life to them.

ugh if only Covert Ops Sonya didn't have that ugly ass face paint. I use the variation with the grenades idk the name lmao. I can't wait for her klassic kostume because I'm not here for any of her current ones. Her major outfit and her tournament outfit look the damn same and I only use the alt. color of one since its green and it gives me throwback teas.

and idk if his clones block Jacqui's full-auto shots because I feel like I haven't had any trouble with them. Or maybe the first shot breaks the clone and then the rest hit Sub-Zero idk.

I got it through downloading in chrome instead, yay me.

Sidenote, anyone have Jason? She seems ok to me, plenty of pop up moves so you'll never have to worry about combos. You'll pull off high 20% with ease at least. Maybe a bit less effort than most of the cast to break into the 30s.

Only tried the Slasher variation, haven't tried out the variation that lets you resurrect so not sure what the conditions are like for that.

Has two brutalities that require no conditions apart from being an EX move. Has an XRay brutality as well, but the condition is you must activate it from a distance so he'll walk to the opp and have it still land. Might be a bit hard to get since it'll be beyond telegraphed but who cares, brutalities are fun.

I didn't get the kombat pack so I don't have him nor am I interested in getting anyone else that isn't Tanya tbh. But I know when she comes out and the people who got the kombat pack get her a week before I do I'm gonna be a miserable and jealous wreck.
