TJ Combo? Fuck outta here. They're completely different characters with different backgrounds, the only thing that they share is they're black, male and specialise in punching in their fighting games...

And you wanna talk about stereotyping na.

MK is a tacky franchise which I love but don't bring Killer Instinct into this safe place. Thank.

wait wtf is Mortal Kombat X: Generations?? I'm only hearing about this now but I guess its like the webseries they did for MK9? Anyways the guy they casted for Kung Jin is hot.

Cassie is the main character, but apparently there is no one cast as Jacqui. At least not the last time I checked.

Jin was my least favorite for the reasons already brought up, his attitude sucks.

I mean not all characters should be likable in the stereotypical sense but look at Quan Chi he's hated but not hated if that makes sense.

Jin needs qualities added that makes him likable to help with his cuntish personality.

We need to ignore anything he says anyway because he is obviously hurting and hates himself on the inside, not coming to terms with who he is yet so he has to attack other more senior cast members with higher billing and importance so it's ok huni Smile

I watched the story mode cutscenes last night bc it's something to do and all the good lines have been spoilt by tumblr gifsets anyway.

How tf does Kitana get her soul freed then. Why is she playable??? Kitana and the Kung Lao etc. are playable but our kween Sindel isn't? Disgusting tbh.

Right? and on top of that Mother Jade don't make an appearance at all.

I do treasure Jade's cameos though. I love the fact that her beef with Tanya is remembered in one of those profile ID backgrounds (even though that might not be a favorable cameo for the true Jade die-hards including me tbh but I'm using it anyways bc its so gaggy.)

**Some spoilers ahead I guess**

MILEENA AND TANYA HOOKIN' UP, I'M HERE FOR IT SO MUCH. Yasss.

And yeah I think the cutscenes mentioned how Liutana become the rulers of the Netherrealm so I'm guessing they'll be the antagonists in the next game.

Still sad that Sindel wasn't playable. I didn't main her in MK9 but she was my fav back in MK3 and I've always loved her as a character. It was a shame to see her reduced to one of Quan-Chi's peons when she's meant to be the ruler of Edenia. Kinda silly how Kitana's a revenant but is still in the roster as a playable character. It's probably because people like me would've been upset to see her omitted but it's not cohesive.

I've only watched Kitana and Tanya's endings from MKX (Rain Sad

), but man the MK lore is so convoluted and confusing now. They tried to refresh it but it's almost made it more complicated because of that. It's on some comic book shit now with all these alternate universes and paths.

Also is it just me or would you not just love to be an Edenian. Like, it's where all our faves come from, it's serene af and the most beautiful of all the realms. I remember in Deception I thought it was so cool we could finally visit all these places that are mentioned and I thought Edenia was chill af.
