Now that I think about it, I think if Natsu had been introduced with her 2p as 1p, and then her 1p as a 2p tribute to Taki, she would've been received much better.
That way she would've felt more as a new character rather than a tacky replacement.

Taki had that throw forgot the notations but that throw has been around since Soul Blade.
tbh 90 percent what i have seen so far is Taki minus the teleport dash and a few new moves.
smells of laziness imo.

No shes not lets not get ahead of ourselves being unbiased now most of what Natsu has now Taki has/would have had the only thing Natsu has on Taki is more of a personality.

And i no everything about her is a Taki clone apart from the nappy weave she ripped off Setsuka's crusty scalp. The only hope she is of working that 2P, but even at that i'll probs never use her. Just the moveset when i do CAS :date:

In an attempt to get this back on topic. mwah

There was some sort of stream today with a guy interviewing Filthie Rich, and this is a summary of the main news mentioned, taken from user VaanKun26 over at the 8WR forums.

To sum up from Filthierich we learned that:
1) There are at least 4 characters left apart from Algol and Edgemaster
2)One of the remaining characters is a male and said fun to play (no clue for his fighting style yet)
3)More info for the story mode coming next week
4)The characters left will be revealed prior to release
5)The remaining characters won't be revealed all together
6)Something that has to do with frame traps in the gameplay(didn't really pay attention but was pointing out Cervantes for this)
7)Taki got pretty much disconfirmed since he mentioned her and that Natsu is almost the same as her(in terms of gameplay)
8)Xiba's fighting style consists of many stances
9)Dampierre will be DLC for those who did not pre-order the game
10)most likely more DLCs will follow(correct me if I am wrong)
