The action aspect is fine, just don't make it as over the top. A tank? really tenks even you must know how ridiculous things are turning out. They want the COD fans so they are trying to cater to them instead of the already established fanbase. I like change and it can be good, RE4 was the perfect example of how to blend action and horror. RE5 did not do such a thing it was not scary at all and didn't even have suspenseful moments. chris punching a boulder? star wars music? everything about RE5 other than the fun shooting segments was all wrong.
We shouldn't be stuck in the past but we shouldn't totally leave it behind either.
RE5 sold cause it was the first HD RE game and looked to have had potential don't kid yourself capcom.

And there's nothin wrong with making the action improve and keep going that bit further. The bigger the action doesn't mean the lesser the horror. They are two different elements of the game. Although RE5 has lost the horror element the other games had, it just the traditional horror it had, it still has the horror aspect in the fighting for survival. Sure we might not find it scary, but its there.
The only thing in an RE game that has ever scared me that i can put down to because i wasnt a child were the Regenators in RE4, but i'd rather fight them over some of the special enemies in RE5 anyday since their harder and when they get close they r scary

I LOVED RE5 tbh, just because I love a good co-op game I can play with friends or random people. Though I guess I can wait until Christmas to get this.

Though that's when the Dark Souls DLC comes out, though I imagine that will be pretty cheap.

Yeah, i loved RE5 too but i was late on that... If the multiplayer aspect of RE6 is really good then i'll want it on release (and by that i dont mean the two player co-op, i remember rumours about a 6 player thing), otherwise it can wait.
