But the whole "no appearance in a decade" throws me. Claire hasn't had a major role, but she's been in the first CG movie and Mercenaries 3D, and Rebecca was in RE5 Mercenaries... Do they even count?

That could mean in an actual game. Mercnaries doesn't really count as it's just a mini game.
Claire and Rebecca has not been seen in over ten years in the actual story. 

It could only be them imo. The male is someone who was mentioned in the story but never appeared.

Are you sure with that male thing or is it just a guess considering you believe the two returns to be Claire and Rebecca, so that leaves the guy?

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is coming and a remaster of REmake.

Claire and Barry's daughter confirmed and it will be episodic.

Not sure how to feel about the episodic release... RE6 already had alot of dlc stuff and it was a full game. This could take it one stretch further since you have to buy everything in pieces.

But praise jeebus Claire is back.

Looks like REmake HD is using the high quality pre-rendered assets. Surprised they kept up with them as companies tend to not store files like that properly.

Ok but why is it first person? I hope its a VR only thing cause i do not get any life from first person horror titles, and that is a distract change for a series that has established spin offs to be different.

The trailer did creep me out, but only cause the tension of first person. Nothing happened. No details on what it is. Literally just first person.

I am lowkey pissed off, trend chasing now? A PT ripoff without the intelligence on what what made it great. 

And there are no RE characters at all and the dialog is horrible.

I DLed the demo so i'll try it out. It could be great in its own merit, but so far nothing about it screens main RE title.

I enjoyed PT this was just boring, the backlash is already starting. I think they scrapped whatever RE7 was going to be and went for this due to budget and the VR fad. 

The whole game can be played in VR which I think is a nice part in why the game is this way. XV shoehorned VR in as well *sigh*

Yeah but at least the FFXV VR seems like a separate thing.
It is as plain as day VR ruled the concept of RE7

Wow that was a pretty underwhelming jump scare lol..this really shouldn't have been Resident Evil 7 and should be a spin off imo, cause I do imagine this being scary in VR.
