Alex confirmed to be in first in march and apparently it's all the way til Sept rather than December, so we're basically gonna get them once a month. I'm thinking they will skip July for Evo and the order they showed the silhouettes is the order we'll get them.

I noticed people want Juri to lose her original, but I think they should keep it, she's like evil Chun Li. They have already shown they are messing with hairs in alts already, so having her hair down can be left for an alt.

Idk, I really like it, from what I've heard from the beta it isn't that bad actually speaking as an Englishman myself. He sounds like he's from the midlands, which is refreshing since the only British accents we see in media are London, London or....Posh London.

It's awful in parts in the story stuff tho. Still tho, I like that Capcom fighters give accents to characters.. like Morrigan actually being Scottish. Tekken is so shit in that department.

Yeah I was shocked they actually got someone to do a Scottish accent for Morrigan in MvC, I was expecting an American accent, and w/ Nina I feel you, I've wanted her and Anna to have an Irish accent forever, I would get my life.

and honestly, it just made me love her more. I hope one day Harada listens to people asking for it, cause I've seen people complain a few times to him about accents.

Are any of you guys getting this game tonight or tomo? I just there now decided to get it on PSN, I cba to go to GAME and I think I've grown to like not having to switch disc and having more clutter lol.

@ Williams accents: it'd be cute but I think their current VA's are so flawless so I'm fine with them never changing. I guess their current VA's could put on an accent but that could either go really well or really cringey.

Their current VA's...well..Nina's, are cool but like it'd be nice to have an actual Irish character with the accent and everything, idk, i'm not Irish but Bosca needs the representation! lol. Irish accents are kinda hard to do unless you go the "stereotypical" route and there's different regional ones too.

And I have completed a couple of story modes in this now and like...I see what you mean about Birdie's VA. His intro quote sounds Brummy-ish but his other lines are terrible and obv done by an American. I googled him and he's super hot though. He's tall, a martial artist, and also does Marduk and Colossus in the Deadpool movie.

This has been a......messy first experience with SFV. Can we really not do a simple vs mode with a CPU? Does unlocking colors for EACH costume really have to be this annoying? Can we really not unlock story mode costumes until March? I'm such a horrible SF player that I HAVE to rely on challenge mode to teach me how to be good with anyone and even that's not coming out until March.

Also I was doing the survival mode trying to get costume 3 for Mika and while I'm on match 8/10, the game decides to log out for no reason and send me to the main menu without giving me the opportunity to continue where I left off. I've only been able to get Chun's 3rd color so far and it's so boring that idk if I'll have it in me to get anyone else's.

Its got so much shit that needs to be fixed but idk at least the game isn't COMPLETELY unplayable. Story mode is cute. I "completed" Chun's, Laura's, Mika's, Karin's, and Rashid's. and judging from those stories alone its clear to see that Sakura, Oro and Sean are gonna be in the second wave of DLC. Also I saw a pic of Viper so I guess she'll be in too (yassss). I've been doing the best with my boyfriend Rashid. In my heart I'd like to be a Mika main but I'm just so horrible with her. I'd rather learn the basic combos in challenge mode and then when I'm confident enough, learn more stuff via YT tutorials. I just had no idea that this game was gonna be so incomplete. Its really fucking my scrub ass over.

It's such a joke, I am beyond pressed tbh, moreso because I could've got the game for half what I paid if I didn't bother with the Chun costume and the beta I hardly got a chance to play/didn't bother to play. And now the game is here and there's like so many problems day one. The server things are a joke but ok...it's online...there'll be teething issues. The thing with the lack of modes/ways to unlock costumes is stupid, and the fact you can't earn fight money offline etc. It should save how much you earned on contingency then add it to your total when you reconnect to the server.
