To clarify I mean the demo will still come with digital copies of Type-0 two months after the initial release. So you have until May 17th to get the demo with the game.

I think I'll pass on this. I'm not really a big FF fan (though I still wanna play FFX-2 sooo bad). 

So i decided i'd feel bad if i played the XV demo before trying out Type 0. Gotta saw i like Type 0, its quite different from traditional FF games. Not sure how i feel about the lack of abilities though... I mean three per character is a little low and i don't think there is a way to switch them up when not at a save point. Barely through the start of the game and i'm already having to decide what skills i want my characters to carry and what to not use.

And the MP costs in this game are ridiculously high.

We can get into the fact Dissidia is coming back and its being made by TN and it wont just be a handheld game

Unless they reveal Zidane, Tifa, Bartz and Balthier I can't get into it.

They plan on having 50 characters so I expect them and then some.

Stella has been scrapped Luna is a different character and her role might be different. Tabata claiming about keeping Nomura's vision might be a lie we will see soon enough come gamescom. 

2.0 demo will be a update patch there wont be another demo for people who didn't get Type-0 as originally claimed.

Kinda upset about Stella tbh. I know we didnt really know anything about her but she was going to be a big part of Versus XIII... And with Luna looking so similar to her, she's basically a visual replacement and more than likely romantic replacement as well. I wonder why didn't they just keep Luna called Stella, but then it would spit in the face of original Stella so ???

The impression I am getting with Luna so far is not promising. With Stella we saw out the gate she was a strong female character who could go toe to toe with Noctis. 

If that whole entire scenario was scrapped then i will be pissed. Then again their reasoning on female characters and Cindy's inception does not bode much confidence. 

I will wait and see but if they really did change a lot of Versus' story despite saying otherwise I will feel bad for Nomura. He really loved this project and felt strongly about this.


That would be a major spit in the face for lying about keeping things the same then change the story to get some credit out of it other than just finishing development.

Yeah, the lack of females is a bit troubling, but again we don't know alot about this game either. Cindy is just a mechanic, she isn't going to have any major significance apparently so am not worried about her

I just mean her tacky design the coochie cutters andd exposed top it's over the top. The whole story behind her creation is a creepy mess too.

I am going to wait for Gamescom before jumping the gun.
I think it's time Nomura leaves SE one of the main reasons it took forever for Versus/XV was because he was not allowed to focus on it.

He was pulled to work for trainwrecks like XIII and XIV.

XIV is great I played it on PS4 but it was a mess before having to rework it. 
Nomura kept getting pulled to work on other stuff, people say he was not gonna finish it but it wasn't his fault.

I fucking can't at Nomura getting pulled to work on something bigger. This will be the biggest project of his career holy shit.

The remake is a full remake in the vein of XV

Battle system will be different

Rumored to be using Unreal Engine 4 sice they're working with Cyber Connect 2.

Game has been in development since last year and is far along enough for screenshots.

Silly moments will be kept in tact
