Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
http://www.polygon.com/a/life-in-japan/Harada-Summer-Lesson
First on the list is Tekken 7, the latest in the series that made him famous. He says he's been spending "less and less" time on Tekken recently, because the team working on the series has enough experience to handle it on its own. But he says the team is aiming to make the game more accessible to newcomers compared to previous Tekken titles, and they are tying up a lot of character story threads to bring some closure for the series' 20th anniversary.
Beyond those four, Harada says he's also working on "a few games that aren't announced."

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
Especially since we haven't even seen any videos of him at all since he was revealed last year.
I'm gonna make a stage discussion thread because I like flooding the forums.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
Yas at T7 being in the next Crash, and yas at the diversity of the picks. This is what happens when Bob isn't there
There's no Lili or Asuka or Xiaoyu there so amma remain pressed for a lil sec and not pretend there could be more teams. And where is the rep for Lucky Chloe and Claudio? Someone better come along and showcase them.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
Taktak posted after that, switching Only Practice out with Triple H who uses King.
Also, don't phreak out.... Tekken Crash is coming next week on the 28th. It's like a trial episode to gauge interest.

Howwrong went back to T3 colors interesting. That simple change really makes a difference. Sucks only Lars and Kazuya got new ones tho.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
Tekken Crash is 4PM Korean/JPN time.
I think that's 2 AM EST and 6 AM Europe (London) time.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
The new CG are pretty ugly.
I can't wait for the event to be shown, though i kinda worry about the Power Crush and Rage Arts new mechanics.
Power Crushes are not as bad as TR's invincible moves, but still, they are not the smartest thing created ever.
Rage Arts are pure garbage. I have nothing against the over the top aspect of them, but I don't understand why they have to go through everything and can't be countered. They are too good a move by only pressing 3 buttons. I think they should have followed DOA5's power blows idea if they absolutly wanted to put supers in Tekken.
The roster as it's now is boring.
I know it doesn't seem like it, but I'm really impatient of what is coming next (can't wait to see Shaheen in action !) !

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
Power Crushes can easily be sidestepped and I'm pretty sure RA will be easy to punish.
To be honest, I don't really see a difference from T6/TT2 rage and RA. Since the damage boost seems to be gone, there's a flashy auto-juggle that'll probably do the same damage a regular rage juggle would.

I didn't know about the sidestepping part, thx for the info =); and yes, RA are indeed a lot unsafe on block but I don't like how it works and the fact that it absorbs everything and freeze time. It makes a simple df+1 risky to use at the end of a match. (well I didn't play the game, so maybe i'm saying bullshit; but it's how I feel after watching gameplay vids)

The difference is that you had to do an actual juggle by pressing buttons which requires a minimum of skills comparing to only press 3 buttons. Plus, the starter of it could be countered, which is not the case with RA.
I didn't like rage in T6, but I think it was well balanced in TTT2 with Tag assault and Tag crash.

I love Hwoarang and Paul's artwork. Lili's pose is awkward though.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
I dig most of them like Paul, Leo and Sergei look amazing. Hwoarang's shows what a cocky little shit he is and I love it.
I have to say though, looking at all the girls, its really missing mature looking women..most of them are cute.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
Wait @ Chanel having to switch from Alisa to Lili for Tekken Crash. Since when was Alisa banned in Korea? and what for? What's the Alisa tea??

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
She's not necessarily banned, it's just she hasn't been censored for the Korean version yet. So they can't use her since this is a televised event.
In the Korean version of T6BR (IDK about TTT2 I've never seen Korean Alisa play) her chainsaws are replaced with lasers/light saber things and she doesn't remove her head during certain moves.

Re: Tekken 7 Hype Train!
I'm surprised the guest artist design for Lars ended up being the main outfit. But i mean i hope when this drops we'll have 2P outfits as well, and not just recolours like the loketests.
I think PC moves can be broken with a low attack as well. They only absorb highs and mids.
My main issue with RA's is that the dmg is not universal. I get that some may have ones to easily combo into or a better start up attack, but the dmg difference is extreme. Steve's does 75%+. That's a little ridiculous. Plus the fact it takes chip dmg when absorbing attacks (unlike PCs that take full dmg), it's best uses will be during a combo or when you see the opp press a button. Chances are you'll survive whatever you'll absorb.
Right? It's like she trying that pose and Alisa is just "lemme show you how its done"... A mid strut pose would've been better
Katarina is all we have, and i don't trust that in the hands of a new bitch. None of the girls bar Asuka & Leo even look like they ready to smack a hoe, but Asuka's is slightly awkward too, the arms seem wide and stance is quite open. Katarina just standing there like "where my money" or "where dat dick"
Eugh, i really need Leo to have some slightly more feminine customs this time around, just to help fight against the school girls. I love my school girls but the ratio has gotten quite bad now in this small roster
