I love the grappling hook win animation but I'm so annoyed at them using Scenario Campaign voice clips for her....I literally rewatched scenes with her in it and clocked every single one of her new quotes.

Hopefully they get kween Mary Elizabeth McGlynn to re-record them because the "This should be fun" intro is too quiet and unfitting for an animation like that.

Im sorry every time I see her win animation I scream because it's so fucking funny.

Anyway they really like... let me down with the intros and win animations because Leo could have had one where she swings down from that grappling hook that shoots out her sleeve from her TT2 ending. The new characters don't really have any new dynamic or interesting intros or win animations with props(like Nina's gun, or Lili's tea and Asuka's bike) and I'm kinda jealous about it.

I think the dumbest new intro is Paul's because it's literally so dumb

I was thinking about that with the newbies too. Like Chloe could have this intricate dance routine intro, Claudio being a theatrical gay with his blue power thing, Shaheen doing some superhero flip from the sky etc. If Katarina really is based off of Michiko Malandro then I'd gag if she jumped in on a Moped, snatching my roots in mid-air.

Also Nina must be super special for getting 2 new extra/prop poses instead of the usual 1 like everyone else. tbh I can see newbies getting special intros when their stories are being worked on. They better be working on proper 2P outfits too.

Can't quite make out what Mr Mumbling Emo is saying, it's either "You can't turn back time" or "time doesn't go back" or something like that.

Kazumi just says "No way, you as well?"

I'd say so too. We need our new FR characters since DR had Drag/Lili and BR had Lars/Alisa. Even though I'm dying for veteran reveals I love seeing new characters and fighting styles just as much.

Is the panel for Namco still happening? I looked and it's not on the Evo site. I hope the reveal wasn't cancelled.

Top 8 was great to watch too, I think 7 is 100x more interesting to watch than 6 or TTT2.

idk people are saying all sorts of different things. I'm hearing 5 PM PST there's supposed to be something (probably the 5v5 tourney Michael Murray is talking about), and then I'm hearing there could be something tomorrow. All the Evo schedules I check don't have a Namco panel listed so idk??

Top 8 was good but i was falling asleep during the grand final cause i was shattered omfglmao

Not my favourite character choice but still enough variety overall, its nice not having the same 3 characters that plagued T6 finals.

But anyone else not lowkey pressed that Sunday for Evo is just all 2D fighters? Namco single handedly repping the 3D fighters. And nothing against smash but how did they get two games in the main list? Girl bye.

3D fighters are truly on life support.

Now they are talking shit, first it was at 5 now it's going to be after the tournament.

Are they actually announcing anything? Apparently Murray already said there won't be an announcement at Evo, at least thats what a post in TZ said.

A small part of me would like to think Harada planned something amazing to slay us all, but then Ono sent him a nude and begged to let SFV have some more competitionless promo

Bufuteki keeps changing shit, he went in the comments and said there were no official announcements but now at 6:30 two people will be talking.

Evo's apparently in some massive stadium or something tomorrow so maybe that's when they wanna show something off?? I hope they show something during Evo considering E3 was a snoozefest and since they actually revealed T7 at Evo. At least we got SDCC next week?
