Tekken 7 Hype Train!

There's gonna be a feature on Tekken + Harada in famitsu on Thursday the 18th. Could be some news there. Maybe it'll be today since I think that timezone is a day ahead of ours.

I think maybe they'll reveal some Nina since I see her ugly self down there.

Yea, i wouldn't use Asuka as an excuse to not have Jun, but the points you raised to have her (popularity, story) have been valid since post T3. They've ignored her for this long even with that backing

Why has there been such an aversion to Jun? she was meant to be in Tekken 3 which in hindsight was a good move to leave her out.

But she should have appeared by 4 instead of her spirit or whatever stopping him from killing Heihachi it should have been Jun herself and Jin is surprised and ended it on a cliffhanger and continued with 5.

I don't use her at all for that reason, but I honestly don't see her being on the roster at all because of that. But at the same time she kinda has to be there because if not then the Jun crybabies (also me) will come back out of their caves. Yeah, they've ignored her for so long - but back then there really wasn't much people could do about it. Social media is becoming a powerful thing nowadays.

I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. Because how many people with similar movesets will they have on the roster this time that aren't Mishimas? So far the new characters use recycled animations from older ones. You had Lee, but now you have Katarina. You had the capos, but now you have LC (though we haven't seen that much of her).

Jun from a gameplay standpoint is quite different from Asuka we can't even use that as an excuse either to leave her out. Adding her back in can be tricky but if they got a good writer it wouldn't be that hard.

I know this for a fact. What I am saying is, from a gameplay perspective, they share similar moves. How many characters in this game will have similar moves when we are expecting the roster to be cut? 

Nina and Anna are different also, but what point is there to keep Anna? Sure, she's beloved; interesting; multi-dimensional; beautiful; fashionable; etc., but doesn't that worry you? 

Their roster choices so far are questionable as hell for returning characters.

Sorry, didn't mean it like that. I meant on the Tekken teams side. 
I see what you mean and you're right things seem very questionable right about now.

This Tekken is also shaping up to have the most new characters since Tekken 3. Which means where is the room for others when he said there could be less than 40?

I'll be sad if my faves don't make it in favor of ugly newbies. 

Katarina may be my Anna replacement so I can project my internalized anger when I find out she's cut.

But i mean i dont know who i'd rather see... Eddy hasn't exactly done much, and Christie always just chases after him like he Jay Z, so...

And Jack has to be in it. Jack or Marduk cause Tekken needs a big guy, but i mean you can't deny T4 felt wrong for not having Jack

Either an error or Jun had another child and sent Asuka to be raised by her brother.
